The Crown Affair, Bacup: July 2026
We performed in Victorian costume at Britannia Coconut Dancers Crown Affair, Bacup in July. It was the 25th annual event celebrating folk culture led by the Coconutters in their distinctive costumes, alongside Morris dancers, cloggers, mummers and Az Kabile tribal belly dancers. Dancing began at midday and continued all afternoon with crowds swelling as the day progressed.
