Galliard Folk Dance Group is available for your event
The Galliard group of English dancers perform a wide variety of English dances in different costumes to suit different dance periods: Regency, Victorian or Country costume. We can perform indoors or outdoors, the main requirement is for a level area with a smooth surface. The main things we need are:
- a smooth level area for dancing (preferably not carpeted)
- a room in which to change into costume
- toilet facilities
- light refreshments – tea, coffee are appreciated
- car parking on site or within walking distance
- the group has public liability insurance
Members of the group are happy to remain in costume and talk to visitors or audiences or include audience participation in the dancing. We try and meet the requirements of the organiser as far as possible.
