About Galliard Folk Dancers
We meet every 2 weeks to rehearse for demonstrations (“dancing out”) and to try out some of the more difficult dances not usually performed at club events. Our practise meetings are held on Tuesday afternoons, alternating between Preston and Hesketh Bank.
Would you like to join us?
If you would like to work towards dancing out in public, in costume, with Galliard Folk Dancers you would be most welcome. But you must meet our strict criteria:

You have to be an experienced dancer at Club or equivalent level – sorry we cannot train beginners

You must be available for practises on Tuesday afternoons, usually between 1pm and 4pm, twice a month

We meet at Galloway Hall (Brackenbury Rd, Preston PR2 3BS) or Hesketh Bank Community Centre (Station Rd, Hesketh Bank PR4 6SR)
